SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF JAMAICA INC. ANNUAL 5K RUN/WALK

Sons and Daughters of Jamaica INC.is a cultural and educational organization serving communities in NewYork and Jamaica West Indies.The 2011 5K run/walk will benefit their scholarship fund and will take place on Sunday August 28th 2011.This race will be held in Prospect Park Brooklyn NY.On site registration will be held on race day from 7am to 8;45 am and the race begins at 9am.There is an entry fee.Fruit and water will be available free of charge for all participants.Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers in the run and walk categories.The race course begins at the Lincoln Road intersection of Prospect Park loop.The race will be one complete loop of Prospect Park,which is 5k or 3.1 miles.For more information about the race call 718-712-5034.
