Caribbean Mango Eating Memories
Mango time in the Caribbean was my favourite time of the year when i was growing up.I loved going to mango walk or mango bush.Boys and girls would go to pick and eat the juicy delicious mangoes.Sometimes we would take baskets or bags so that we can fill them on our way home. When we get to the mango bush some of the boys would climb the mango trees. They would pick the mangoes that are in plain sight and throw them to the people who are underneath the trees. It was necessary to shake the trees when the mangoes were hard to reach.Mangoes would fall like rain and we would eating the big juicy ones.Just remember no water was in sight so washing of hands or mango was not feasible at that time. The most important thing was the number of mangoes you could eat. After everyone had eaten their quota of delicious mangoes we would fill our baskets and bags of mangoes then we would walk home feeling happy and full.
